NEW MEMBERS NEEDED FOR THE FRIENDS OF ST KEVERNE

The Friends of St Keverne are a committee who valuably raise funds for the Health Centre to help us purchase much needed equipment.  They meet once or twice a year here at the Surgery, hold coffee mornings and regularly organise Christmas raffles.

New Members are always welcome and if you would like to join this group and help with the fundraising, please leave your contact details at the Surgery.  We will then pass them on to a member.

CHILDREN’S FLU CLINIC - great success

In the October School half term our 2 Practice Nurses, Louise and Lorna held an afternoon clinic for the young children to have their annual flu vaccinations.

As it was close to Halloween a member of our Staff, Amy did face painting (which some adults had as well!). There were some fun activities for the children to do and they all went home with a balloon.

This was found to be very successful and more than likely we will be doing the same again this year.

All the Moms and Dads who attended the afternoon said it was very well organised and good fun for the children. WELL DONE TO THE NURSES FOR ORGANISING THIS AND THANK YOU TO THOSE FAMILIES WHO ATTENDED.

IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT FOREIGN TRAVEL

Please remember to collect and complete travel forms 8-12 weeks before your travel date.  Some vaccinations may need to be ordered in.  Forms are available from Reception.  Travel vaccinations have to be paid for before being administered.
